Microsoft 365 gains two new offerings focused on security and compliance

Microsoft this week announced two new offerings to its Microsoft 365 repertoire for companies focused on beefing up protection against cybersecurity threats and ensuring compliance with regulations on sensitive information. Both offerings are set to become bachelor on February 1.

The offset new option, dubbed "Identity & Threat Protection," includes the gamut of Microsoft's avant-garde threat protection services across Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility and Security (European monetary system). That includes Azure Avant-garde Threat Protection (ATP), Windows Defender ATP, and Office 365 ATP including Threat Intelligence, along with Microsoft Cloud App Security and Azure Active Directory.

The second pick, called "Information Protection & Compliance," bundles together Part 365 Advance Compliance and Azure Information Protection. The offer is meant to help companies stay in compliance with regulations for handling sensitive information, such as the EU's Full general Information Protection Regulation (GDPR). Companies will be able to see a compliance score across their Microsoft cloud services, and sensitive data will exist automatically classified and protected. Microsoft is too using AI to "efficiently respond to regulatory requests."

Equally for pricing, the Identity & Threat protection package will exist available at a toll of $12 per user per calendar month, while Information Protection & Compliance will run $x per user per month.
