I bought a membership with the North American Hunting Club, A lifetime membership After I received my packet all my magazines stopped coming and they have now left all of us members without nothing. Club President Bill Miller still appears on TV, I want my money back plus interest..

I am writing in reference to the North American hunting club I have been a member since April 16, 2009 I cannot tell you for sure the exact amount I paid for a lifetime membership but I do know it was well over $300 and approaching maybe $350 which I paid in several installments because I am not a rich man. I was promised several things, I lifetime subscription to there magazine, Several trial offers in which I was told I could keep the item being tested, along with insurance, hunting discounts etc.I received about five months of their magazine But afterwords receive nothing received one test item right at the beginning, and nothing after. Never thought too much about it until last week. I figured that I would contact them and ask what happened. Upon trying to make contact un-successfully I may add, I decided to go online, it was at this time I discovered that several other people had the same issue, and also that the club went bankrupt. I was not informed of a court decision.

Way back in 1988 I paid the North American Hunting Club a lot of money for a Life membership. I love to hunt and don't get to do as much as I used to because I turned 65 last Sept. I bought a bunch of items from the club over the years and really enjoyed reading the magazine every time it came. When I stopped getting it in the mail I contacted them and they said they were going to email us the magazines, which I never received.

I bought every book in their series (which were excellent) and paid for a lifetime membership for the National Home Gardening Club, for which I got a magazine subscription, fridge magnet and keychain, and I think a tote bag. For about ten years I have not received a magazine or any word from them at all. They just disappeared. None of the promised perks. And evidently, they filed bankruptcy and did not inform their "life members."

Life is crazy, and I see that several people have complained ahead of me regarding National Home Gardening Club/Life Member. I've done everything I can think of to contact the company, it seems it no longer exists and obviously Scout taking over is a bust. My concern is the same as some. I paid a rather large fee in 2008 for this Life Member status to basically be cut loose once they got my money. A reimbursement is what I'm looking for, is that a fantasy or is there someone out there responsible for this paid Life Membership?? There needs to be more information on this company abandoning it's Life Members!

I purchased a life membership in the North American Hunting Club, membership number 55846 in March of 1986 and was to receive a magazine and items to test for my life time. It has been some time since I received anything from the company and began trying to reach them today only to discover that they are no longer in business and a chapter 11 bankruptcy was filed and to be included in the bankruptcy a claim had to be filed by a date that is over three years ago. I was never notified of the bankruptcy.

I became a trophy life member of the NAHC and NAFC in 2008. It has been years since I received anything from them, I had forgotten about them until I found my membership cards in my wallet as I transferred everything to a new wallet. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars for 2 lifetime memberships to only get a few cheap gifts and a few years of magazines.

I paid for a life time membership that was a lot of money. It was to last my life time then if I wanted to pass it to a child I could. I was to receive monthly magazines which i only got a few, test items i received one. These was to be for a life time not a one time thing. That is why I paid so much and why I bought all I did because I also bout the monthly books they sent you said you got free them charged an ungodly amount. I bought the leather jacket they had at a high price. But I thought it was because they was going to be in good standing. Not take my money and leave me high and dry after a year. I have been with NAHC a life time honor roll member since October 7th 2010. I have my member number in case you need that. This is ridiculous I have been trying to get ahold of someone from their department with no answers. The number goes to some roadside service now. what am i supposed to do? I had no clue that the filed a chapter 11. No notice no mail no call nothing. how is a person...

I have been a life member (membership number ********) since 09/1992 and, like everyone else apparently, have not received anything from them for several years or more. I paid $275.00 to become a "life Member", the last payment was received by them May 19, 1994. At that time, being in the service stationed overseas, that money was quite a lot, but I felt that it was worth it. What is being done to either re-establish our membership and its' benefits or reimburse us for the money spent to become a life member? I still have all the original correspondence concerning becoming a Life Member, including the Life Member Benefits brochure, mailings (signed by then-president Steven F *****), and billing mailings, including money order receipts for the payments that were sent. What recourse do I have in either obtaining my money back or suing this company for failure to fulfill their contract for services paid for. If there is any sort of lawsuit pending with this company regarding this issu...
